Why Cash Voucher and Assistance?
The Uganda Red Cross Society (URCS) enhances the dignity and resilience of vulnerable communities through Cash Voucher and Assistance (CVA).
CVA provides financial support directly to those in need, allowing them to purchase essential items from local markets.
Our CVA programs are adaptable and context-specific, providing immediate relief during emergencies and supporting long-term recovery in stable
settings. We ensure effectiveness and accountability through meticulous planning, robust monitoring, and collaboration with local partners. By
leveraging technology and maintaining rigorous oversight, we mitigate risks like inflation and misuse.
Incorporating Cash Voucher and Assistance into our operations demonstrates our commitment to innovation, dignity, and resilience in humanitarian
aid, aligning with our mission to improve the lives of Uganda's most vulnerable populations.
